Oneita Parker to debut 30 piece collection at MAGIC Feb.21-23.

LOS ANGELES, CA: Most designers hide their stitches, but not entertainment industry veteran designer, Oneita Parker; she shows them off on purpose! Parker is releasing her debut fashion collection in style at PROJECT WOMENS after nearly 20 years designing costumes for film and television.

Each of the 30 designs in this breakout collection has been carefully crafted with specific deconstructed details. Parker is known for her unique coupling of eye- popping stitches with rebellious, yet graceful beautiful patches of color. These two design elements work harmoniously to create joyous and wearable pieces that demand the adulation of the most discerning of fashion connoisseurs.

Parker’s colorful artisan designs stand out among the runway’s traditional styles and take both the wearer and onlooker on a truly sui generis fashion journey.

When asked about her inspiration, Parker said:

“Colors! Colors inspire me and so does stitching. I like to give my pieces an artisan heart, so I play with elements that most designers shy away from. I like to keep it unique.”

In addition to launching this collection, Parker is also starting Oneita Parker International, a lifestyle brand and fashion house. Oneita Parker International’s mission is to promote creativity, integrity and connectivity through their lines. The collection can be seen at WWD MAGIC/ PROJECT WOMENS at the  Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Booth #14294 from Feb. 21-23.
