Oneita Parker started sewing and designing at the age of eight. All through high school and beyond Oneita designed and made her own clothes. College took her to The Big Apple New York City where she graduated from FIT majoring in Fashion Design and Textiles. She went onto work in the rag trade, first in Hong Kong and then in New York, but Hollywood was calling. She has been designing and making costumes for film and TV for nearly 20 years. Oneita thrives on bringing to life characters via the director’s vision and the script. She is a hands-on designer who loves to illustrate her work. Oneita’s warm, inclusive personality puts actors, musicians, producers and clients at ease. With decades of experience she is a consummate professional, lightening fast and always a problem solver. Oneita’s studio is in Los Angeles where she is based in California with her wife Rosser Goodman and her pitbull, Bunnybear.
